Locations

Fourteen telework centers are overseen by the Washington Metropolitan Telework Centers (WMTC). All are located in or very near town centers, never more than a few miles from interstates and other major roadways.

Each telework center is fully equipped with the resources modern workers need to conduct their business and stay in touch with their co-workers, including:

• Computers with up-to-date software and high-speed internet access
• Printers, scanners, and fax machines
• Phone lines with transferable voicemail
• Comfortable, efficient workspaces
• Administrators and tech support available throughout the day to address any concerns or needs

Each center features a kitchen area, typically with a water cooler, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Most centers are open 24 hours a day, and each is secure (accessible only by key-card), so employees can rest knowing the centers’ resources are there for them whenever necessary.
